Swine Flu

Right... so the media orgy over swine flu seems to have come and gone... why?

Why are the newspapers not really raving about it anymore? It seems to be spreading like fucking wildfire but yet being swept under the carpet.

Today's news on the BBC. Not the BBC headline, just on another part of the BBC page:

A four-fold jump in Australia's swine flu infections could spark a WHO pandemic announcement, experts warn.

The virus has infected more than 26,500 people in 73 countries

Health Minister, Paul Lucas, has warned it was inevitable the contagious respiratory condition would claim lives

The World Health Organization last declared a pandemic 41 years ago

Evidently this is pretty serious shit. Start buying the masks, people...

I think the media got distracted by the MP's expenses story...they will start harping on about Swine flu in another couple of months when it comes back stronger...

Remeber: Catch it, Bin it, Kill it...(as if that's going to help!)
